query about logo at aden !!

HI

anyone can explain what is logo mean and what is meant by number 24 on the middle !!!

this logo remain at Aden until now beside mountain

this mountain used as British military base or weapon storage on the past

Its the badge (or a version of it) of the South Wales Borderers, the 24th Regiment of Foot. Apparently they were in Aden from 1927-29. See this article on Wikipedia,

and yes it is related to (South Wales Borderers) and number 24 stand for 24th Regiment of Foot

i just found the answer yesterday by someone on here

no body in my hometown (Aden )has information about  this badge
