willone242 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Hi - I recently got to buy a MK III a aperiodic flight compass, version 1924. I have a really hard time finding any information on it, just some photos at IWM onlie museum, and this reference from the Compass museum. http://compassmuseum.com/aero/aero.htm Im hoping to get some feedback here where and when it was used, and possibly a valuation for this object. Thanks, Will
peter monahan Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Simple marching compases for that period seem to be selling on ebay for between $150-200 US, so I'd guess that an aviation version might be worth double that range. otherwise, I'm afraid, I have no real information for you.

Best man to ask would probably be David Farnsworth of the Historic Flying Clothing Company; he's a goldmine of information http://www.historicflyingclothing.com His email address can be found at the top of the page
