Hi - I recently got to buy a MK III a aperiodic flight compass, version 1924. I have a really hard time finding any information on it, just some photos at IWM onlie museum, and this reference from the Compass museum.

Im hoping to get some feedback here where and when it was used, and possibly a valuation for this object.

    Thanks, Will

Simple marching compases for that period seem to be selling on ebay for between $150-200 US, so I'd guess that an aviation version might be worth double that range.  otherwise, I'm afraid, I have no real information for you.

Best man to ask would probably be David Farnsworth of the Historic Flying Clothing Company; he's a goldmine of information ;)
