unknown nationality of a soldier

i have this picture - but as uniforms are far out of my field of knowledge i really don't know which nationality this soldier has.

Czechoslovakian, probably 1920s. The diamond badge with their lion, patches, and the re-issued old Austro-Hungarian cap are the clues.

This is a bit later in the 1920s when they had gone from French surplus to their own British-style uniforms:
