Spandau Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Looking for information about the tools that were used in the field during MW operation. I believe the fuse may have been adjusted via a single pin spanner wrench and the bottom plate may have been removed to load the projection charge with a two pin spanner wrench. I have seen pictures of the 2-pin spanner hanging from a lanyard however, I'm not sure how when this was used. I am not sure how the fuse tool was carried. There are a lot of other tools in the toolbox. I think one is to push a round to the bottom of the barrel and another is to hook the fuse and lift the round out, in case of a misfire. Does anybody have documentation or pictures of these (and other) tools? I've seen a lot of toolboxes in museums, but never the tools. Regards, Steve
