Jurgen Fritz Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Hi Gents, I'am interested on the History of German Marching Boots (here some East German ones) also called "Knobelbecher"-"Dicebeaker ( "Landser" nickname since You could dice with Your "frozen off Toe's" inside! I had in 1960 s my own Experience with them, some very bad..I really wonder how they last that long in German Service? The Boots have some Good for them like in Barrack Duty..maybe get here some interesting INFO & Photos Please? In wartime they had studded Hobnails & Heel Iron (what let the Cold inside)..so that was disbanded to Rubber only actually the last 2 WW "Last Ditch shortend Boots had "wooden Soles!!Best Regards Jurgen
