WWI French pilot badge B 1520. Real one?

Hello everyone,

I´ve seen this badge on the web and I couldn't avoid buying it. For what I know it´s a WWI period French pilot badge. Am I right? and I purchased a real deal, or it´s something else?

It does look like a good but very poorly preserved WWI-era example. Hope you didn't pay too much for it, though!

Hello. 

Thanks for your reply. Once I had it in hand it looks much better than in the pictures.

About the conservation, I have to say that it has never been cleaned, so it keeps a 100 years patina. The golden colours of the star and wings are there still.

I'll post some pictures soon.
