Frontbann or another name for then banned SA, was an organization that was rather short lived- only around 10 months in existence or until the SA ban was officially lifted. Although the organization at the time of its existence had its special insignia, including badges, this one here is a commemorative badge that was established around 7 years after the actual entity ceased to exist. At the time of its introduction it even achieved a status of a official badge of the NSDAP. Unfortunately, just like the organization it represented, its official status was removed and the badges were not to be worn by those entitled anymore by the end of 1934.
