How about posting the oldest items in your collection.

This is the oldest thing in mine...........I'm told it's Persian and dates to 500 BC.

Here are mine, older then history! Thousands of years BC. In total age, I mean counting back from present day, according to a friend archeologist these may be easily 8 thousand years old! My favorite is the small black tool, a piece of art, so sharp on the front and so smooth finished!

This is a spinning stone. It is hard to date, but is aprox 10000 years old. In the period of the crusades if these were found they were treasured as good luck tokens. This was found in Kings Lynn in about 1905. It has been mounted more resently.

All right, then... straight to you from the "Big Bang," one meteorite from a ga-zillion years BC.

(I dug this myself from a known meteor crater in Charlotte, NC, about 35 years ago. There is a K-mart now sitting atop the fill.)
