Help ID these Boots WW2 Jungle boots?????

Found these at the bottom of a footlocker I purchased this weekend.

There were military items that spanned from WW 1 thru the Korean War.

The soles are marked MADE IN THE USA and inside it looks like a stamping that says 9.5  8256ROI?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found pictures of these boots on a military web site.

They are described as "1940's UDT swim shoes."

Any old Frogmen out there that can verify this?
