Short, concise description of combat feat of service

Master Sergeant MIKHALIOV has been the platoon leader since August 1942. During all of the tension of service, he has proven himself a highly disciplined and strong – willed commander. His platoon distinguished itself on the most important sectors of the defence and always honourably accomplished its combat service mission.

From 14 – 15 February after a 57 kilometre march, Comrade MIKHAILOV and his platoon established a stiff defence at the fork in the road near Shchir Strugo - Krasninsky Region, and despite the enemy’s massed artillery and motor fire, repelled repeated attacks of small groups of the enemy with inflicting substantial damage on them and accomplishing their assigned combat mission.

While occupying the defence at Mtesh / Khovanovo and Cape St. Mtesh on the coast Krasninsky lake, Comrade MIKHAILOV repelled two enemy reconnaissance patrols, denying them the opportunity to accomplish their assigned mission.

For exemplary accomplishment of his assigned combat missions, Comrade MIKH AILOV fully deserves of the ORDER OF GLORY III CLASS.
