Neil74 Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 40th Anniversary medal (1894-1934). Mount is missing. Weighs 15.6g . I can see that it was manufactured at the Belgrade Mint and that it is celebrating the agricultural cooperatives. I have seen one other example which sold some time ago on emedals.com but can find out virtually nothing about the medal including how many were made and who they were given to. Any help please.
maxblue Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 There where probably records of recipients but much of the information was destroyed during WWII. Here is a diploma for the medal. Funny to see the colours of the ribbon and flag and the meaning today.
Neil74 Posted April 8, 2021 Author Posted April 8, 2021 Thank you very much for your photograph. That is very interesting. The only other medal I have seen had a different ribbon on it.
