Emirhan Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Hi everyone, I am very honored to present you my collection. I am trying to impose our military and orders culture to NFT(Non-Fungible Token). Because in the future NFTs will replace the traditional collections. So I decided to make our culture survive. I am drawing the paintings of Orders and Medals from all around the world. You can check my links. I have 12 design and my designs will be around 50. So I am waiting for your advices and comments. The Whole Collection(Will be 50 totally): https://opensea.io/collection/omclub Orders for Sale: Medal of Honor https://opensea.io/assets/0x495f947276749ce646f68ac8c248420045cb7b5e/93120114964443982337669055564745805754609806672759993912449559153584426188801
paddywhack Posted September 15 Posted September 15 (edited) I know it was a post from 3 years ago but why an earth did you think NFTs would replace people collecting actual militaria, this seems like a cash grab and considering NFTs have now fallen off a cliff I wonder did anyone actually buy any of these? Philip.S Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Though they are undoubtedly very good illustrations, I'm inclined to agree with Paddywhack, I don't think NFTs would have much success, in the same way people tend not to collect reproduction medals, as it simply does not have the history behind it, that an original medal does. Again, these are quite superb illustrations, I'm just not sure if NFTs are the way to utilise them. Just my opinion! Regards, Philip.S
paddywhack Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Can I ask the poster of the pictures did they own the copyright to the pictures or did they take them from pictures off of the web because in alot of cases with NFTs the pictures were simply stolen and then sold for a profit
