GDR : Hans Beimler medal / medal for fighters against fascism

I am new on the field of GDR awards and I wanted to ask you for an advise.

 

Especially with regards to the veterans of the international brigades from spanish civil war I am wondering whether the recipients of the Hans-Beimler-medal also got automatically the medal for fighters against fascism 1933-1945.
