French Military Pass?

Hi All

I bought this interesting document at a local arms fair. The small write-up that came with it said that it is a military pass allowing the bearer to return home to attend to family matters. It's dated 1684, and I think it may be from the occupation of Luxembourg but not too sure.

Could anybody give me any more information on it particularly the name of the soldier involved.

Any info would be great
