LAW Posted January 21, 2023 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Does anyone know whether there was a standard for the direction of the twisted cord around SS collar patches? Some photographs show the direction of twist the same on pairs of patches. Other photographs show the twist in opposite directions (mirror image) for matching pairs of patch. Yet other photographs have the direction of the twist in opposite directions for the same (right or left) patch. On face value it seems that if there was a standard, then it wasn't enforced.
