Help Identifying High Seas Fleet Badge

Hello - My father passed away and collected military objects. He had this High Seas Fleet Badge in his collection, but I am unsure whether it is real or a well done copy and whether it is a recent Schwerin creation or a WWII era version. I’m hoping and would be grateful if one of the experts in this forum could help me identify its origin? Apologies if this is not the right topic forum to be posting in. Many thanks.

It's a good but well worn tombak Schwerin.

The condition is not that great but it is original.
