WWII SERVICE RECORDS

I am searching for the WWII service records of my uncle. He was born in South Africa in 1913 and lived to 1993. It is believed he initially served in the British Army then served in the Navy somewhere in the Pacific. He was a civil engineer by profession. Name: Leslie Thomas Gill Sliney. Wife: Doreen Kent Roberts. Appreciate the assistance.
