Search murdered Canadian soldiers June 7 1944

    Recommended Posts

We are searching for a picture of Canadian soldier L/Cpl John Bernard Murray F/60127 North Nova Scotia Highlander from Prince Edward Island, Canada. He along with 47 other Canadian soldiers were murdered June 7, 1944 around Authie, And Buron. L/Cpl Murray was one of Five Islanders who lost their life that day and the only picture we don’t have is that of L/Cpl Murray.  We have a display at our PEI regimental museum that has their story and we have exhausted every avenue that we know to find one. There are no family members here, we have searched Canadian virtual  war memorial, ancestry.ca, all social media including press and Facebook his own regimental museum to know avail. Any all help or info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
