Please HELP with sword markings

Dear Forum Members,

I had recently acquired a model 1831 General officers sword, One side had the British coat of arms with maker nomenclature, the other a royal cipher. Can I please get help in identifying this cipher and time period. Many thanks in advance!

This is unfortunately a modern Indian reproduction of a British 1831 Pattern GO's Mameluke. The cypher is VR entwined and mirrored, 'VRVR' for Victoria Regina
