Johnny R Posted Wednesday at 18:20 Posted Wednesday at 18:20 Greetings- Tim Curley and I are in the final stages of putting together a book that will be similar to the large format work that Tim and Neil Stewart published in 2006 on WWII Germany Army parade tunics- Waffenrock. The new book will deal with Heer white summer tunics and the 4 pocket piped service tunics. The book will provide an in depth look at these uniforms and their accoutrements from the Reichsheer-the 1937 Geschonte and their variations through the end of the war 1945. We already have the majority of the tunics we need for the book, but we are looking for original examples of the following uniforms in harder to find branch piping and illustrations for the book (Item 7). 1. Four pocket piped cobalt blue piped TSD tunic. 2. Four Pocket dark green piped tunic with a grey collar for a Sonderfuhrer. 3. Violet Piped Chaplain four pocket tunic and or an example of the piped frock coat. 4. Early Reichsheer pattern piped tunic for signals with the brown piping prior to the change to lemon yellow in 1936. 5. 1937 pattern Four pocket Bordo/Wine red piped Nebelwerfer tunic. 6. Four pocket piped tunics piped in copper brown (Kradschutz), light brown (Bautruppe), gray (Propaganda). 7. Tailor advertisements or period illustrations for tailors and the public etc. of the piped and white tunics. The project has lasted 3 years so if I had been in contact with some of you that have these tunics and illustrations I am sorry but have forgot or lost the contact info so please contact me again. Thank you for your time and help.
