Kevin Ross Posted January 29 Posted January 29 (edited) I hope members will be interested in this photograph of the Metropolitan Police Training School in 1954. It came to me following the sad death of my mother Judy Ross nee Robson, who died last year aged 89. It seems to have been presented to her. Mum is far right as we look at it, third row up. She later served in Brixton Police Station, before her marriage to my father in 1958. Edited January 29 by Kevin Ross
I_♥_Police Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Thanks for posting, what a great and interesting picture and a proud moment to share. I honestly cannot help but wonder what the stories of each and everyone pictures was - how long each served, whether they were involved in any jobs that have made history, when they retired etc etc.

Some names can be made out on the back, but sad to say I don’t suppose many if any of them are still with us. And one message would appear to be written in Gaelic or something!
