I've posted this elsewhere, and had the suggestion made that the ribbon in last place might be a stand-in for the Spanish Civil War commemorative medal.

    ...any second opinons?

Logically, the spanish civil war ribbon are placed in last because they are foreign decorations and the first to have been awarded in WWII. Nevertheless you can find german ribbon bars ith the spanish ribbons placed before ostmedaille or others.

In that ribbon bar, I don't think the last one is a Spanish decoration.

That is a distinct possibility. I have a bar with the West Wall medal filling in for the Life Saving medal.

The Baden voluntary war aid ribbon doesn't fit, IMHO - either in terms of what it is, or where it is on the bar. I can't really figure out what else that ribbon could realistically be representing... blush.gif
