landsknechte Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 I've posted this elsewhere, and had the suggestion made that the ribbon in last place might be a stand-in for the Spanish Civil War commemorative medal. ...any second opinons?--Chris
Jacques Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 (edited) I've posted this elsewhere, and had the suggestion made that the ribbon in last place might be a stand-in for the Spanish Civil War commemorative medal.? ...any second opinons?--Chris←Logically, the spanish civil war ribbon are placed in last because they are foreign decorations and the first to have been awarded in WWII. Nevertheless you can find german ribbon bars ith the spanish ribbons placed before ostmedaille or others. In that ribbon bar, I don't think the last one is a Spanish decoration. jacques Edited June 27, 2005 by jacques
Bob Hunter Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 That is a distinct possibility. I have a bar with the West Wall medal filling in for the Life Saving medal.

I can't really figure out what else that ribbon could realistically be representing... --Chris
