Cased Prussian Pilots Badge

Although I already have one of these and didn't really nead another one, this cased Juncker was to good to miss. I bought it from DN in Kassel.

Phew.... It's always a relief to hear that Stogieman!

What I do look for is that cut-out portion inside the crown which is a sure sign of a Juncker.

It's a beauty. Note the right side of the vrown well. At some point, the punched out a bunch like this, slightly off-center. It's a badge i'd be proud to own and proud to handle. Exceptionally good with a very clean case. Note the logo in the lid. Look at it under a glass, you'll be surprised at the detail.

That cased Observer's badge is beautiful! I see what you mean about the quality of the lettering inside the case.

My real passion is TR awards which I have collected for over 40 years. However, I do like WWI pieces and pick them up when I see really good examples. The PLM in this photo is a Wagner.
