Here the receipt document over the return of the cross:
Text: ?Mit Bezeigung Meines Antheils an dem Verlust, welcher Sie durch das Ableben Ihres Gatten und Oheims des verdienten Consistorial=Raths und Hofprediger Br?ggemann betroffen hat, mache Ich Ihnen hierdurch bekannt, dass mit Ihrer Eingabe die Decoration des ihm verliehen gewesenen rothen Adler=Ordens 3ter Classe eingegangen ist. Berlin den 2ten April 1817.

Here I can show you two early award documents to the Red Eagle Order 3rd Class.
Text: ?Ich benachrichtige Sie hierdurch, dass Ich auf den von der General Ordens Commission ?ber Ihr Gesuch vom 9ten Sept. v. J. mir erstatteten Bericht Ihnen den rothen Adler Orden der dritten Classe verliehen, und die Generals ? Ordens ? Commission dernach angewiesen habe. Wien den 15ten April 1815.

Regarding elder rolls which have already been published, would it not be an idea to just make a file in pdf-format and place it on a internetsite? This because we do know the rolls are there, it apperantly would not be to much of an effort typing them over (39 pages) and they are hard to come by these days I guess.....
Should anyone have these, I would be most happy to put them on my site, which I m currently rescheduling. I am also working on the lists of some Frankfurt awards to be put online in that fashion.

Showcase from the arsenal (Zeughaus, Berlin-Germany) with the memories at emperors Napoleon I. The hat was returned to 1957 by the Soviet Union, the medals are still in the national historical museum, Moscow.

Thank you very much for the informations. The last recipient (No. 23) must awarded with the Model 1916. Model 1916 must be awarded since May 1916.
The Model 1910 must be made since May 1910. Dewall will be received the first piece what Godet made, with a small needle. There is a photo of his Order in Schwark?s book. Up to 1913 was Godet made the Mod. 1910 for 25 times. Once at time the needle was made a little bit wider.

Sorry, yes I mean the returns.
The Leopold-Order with Crown (2nd Class, Model 1910-1916) must be awarded 12 times between 2. June 1910 to 15. February 1916.
The first of this class must be awarded at 2. June 1910 to Major v. Dewall.

This model (1910) was produced 25 times by Godet, and was 12 times awarded. (Model 1909 awarded 6 times / Model 1916 awarded 18 / made 19)

Yes, it can be. The end of the needle is a litle bit different. No maker mark.
But why can fade out the yellow color in the enamel?
