Thank you again Gentlemen, it's much appreciated.
I've finally had time to go through the posts & add the new Hüsken catalogue numbers, HH now refers to the 1997 edition & Hü to the new 2010 edition.
I've also replaced the special characters that had been lost so we now have ü & ä etc again.

Excellent! Glad to read that you found the answer, some of these obscure organisations can be a real pain.

Maybe Bund Deutscher Kriegsbeschädigter? The pictures of a couple of the badges from this organisation are not very clear in the new Hüsken, but they are clearer in the previous edition #5702 page 91. They aren't the same but do use the BDK in the arms of the EK like yours.
Sorry I can't be of better help.

Another photo.

A great thread Gentlemen.
I've been looking at the 1933 RPT badge he's wearing in the last picture. It's a lot brighter compared to the "München" badge below it which is usually the same colour, I wonder whether the RPT is the silver version or whether it has been polished to a bright shine?

Thank you for your support Gentlemen. I have some time off from work in the next few weeks & I hope to have some time to do some "stuff" here.
As some of you know Hüsken has released a new copy of his catalogue with many new items. Unfortunately he has also changed many of the catalogue numbers that we used in our threads here, so one of my planned tasks is to update & correct those catalogue numbers here.
I also hope to get new threads started to replace the couple that were lost over the year.

I recently came across one of these, being sold simply as a tinnie & only a few dollars

Thanks Don, I thought the NSKK badge may have been ok, now I know better! I still have much to learn and am thankful for all the help on this site. My knowledge grows slowly along with my collection.
We'd need to see the reverse to be sure but looking at the others I doubt that it's a good one.

Indeed it is. The biggest clue is that Adolf is spelt wrong on the token. Hitler used "f" not "ph".
As a side note, all the badges in the picture further down the page on that link you posted are fakes as well.....

I'm sorry to contradict a fellow moderator, but this is not the police civil pin, the wreath on those is more oval & the eagle different.
This is the civil badge for those in employment or working for the army, navy or SS. "Abzeichen für Angestellte und Arbeiter bei Heer, Kreigsmarine und Waffen-SS"

Just thought I'd bump this up for any new members who aren't aware of the other Fascism forum that we have here on GMIC.
It's a nice reminder that Germany wasn't the only country with Fascist organisations during the early part of the 20th Century. We have examples from Denmark, Sweden, France, America, Great Britain, even Iceland & Finland plus many others.
Please pop in & take a look http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showforum=181 .

Bill,
Do not apologise for opening old threads, they are here to be added to.
Nice piece you have there, & glad to read that you've solved a mystery.

Possible new fake on the market
Picked this up on an auctiion site last week because in all my years of collecting I've never seen one of these marked to C.Poellath.
Now it has arrived I have my doubts that it is genuine. It's difficult to explain but the badge just does not "feel right" to the touch. The enamel is perfect, a liitle too perfect. On the reverse, the Poellath marked pin plate is a couple of millimetres larger than any of the Poellath marked plates I have on any of my other badges made by them..... It could be good but I doubt it.
So if we start to see a number of these cropping up in the future, remember you saw it here first folks........

Jani, I have looked up the figures for the 3 year badge for you. In total 713 badges were awarded over the two years 1943 & 1944.
If you have a chance to buy one, find out the serial number from the reverse & let me know it. I can then tell you whether it was a badge that was awarded or not (& who to).

No there isn't any real reference material, there was a small article in 1997 in the Militaria magazine by Ingo Haarcke, but there wasn't much information in it. Much more is known now.
I am hoping to write a book on both the Landesschießen & Kreisschießen events, but it is taking a long time to get all the badges & information together.
Yes I can tell you exactly how many 3 year badges were awarded (they were only awarded in 1943 & 1944), & I have all of the names of the people who received them. When I get home tonight I shall look up how many badges were awarded for you. However it has to be remembered that as with all badges, more were made than awarded, so many of the badges on the market are un-awarded pieces released post war.

Jani,
I thought that you may enjoy seeing my mini 3 year Gaumiester badge with the very rare mini 4 year clasp.....
The full size clasps are tough to find, but the mini.....

Hi Pete,
Just a quick double check as the pic is a little small on my screen, is the year 1941?
If so, yes it was awarded to Hans Lenz from Innsbruck. He took part in all the shoots 1941 - '44, & was also awarded the 3 year Gaumeisterschütze badge & the 4 year spange.
A nice find, well done.

Pete, I noticed a Gau Hamburg a few posts back http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=24526&view=findpost&p=369543 I recently picked this one up which is a similar design with the red plastic diamond cut edge backing. I wonder whether these were part of a set & if there are other designs?

Tinnie Databases index
in Germany: Third Reich: Organisational Membership Badges & Tinnies
Posted
Sorry for my late reply Troy, I don't come into the tinnie section so much & have been working on the Organisational area.
Start a new thread is probably best if you have several Tag der Wehrmacht tinnies to show.
I've also added your May Day tinnies to the database list above, thanks for your support of the forum & I'll try to pop into the tinnie section more often![](https://gmic.co.uk/uploads/default_blush.png)
