Don can you measure the width at the point where "DDAC" is written? Much appreciated sir. Robert
Do you mean from the edge of the badge at those points or just the distance across the letters?
Cheers

Here's my Hoffst?tter marked version, unfortunately the mark is directly under the pin
. If I get time at the weekend & there is sufficiant light, I'll try to get an agled shot with the camera.

Nice little pin you have there Robert. These (the 1934's) can be found with & more usually without markings (I don't recal seeing a 1938 with a mark).
Here's a Laur I have, I've lightened the image a tad as it's a dark pin so I'm afraid the colours are off.

Beautiful Flo, thanks for sharing these items with us. Were all 3 items your great grandfather's?

Welcome to the forum Henrik, I'm not sure that I know the answers to your questions but here's some info I picked up while visiting N?rnberg last year.
There's a great toy museum there & in it is a large display regarding the toy fairs held in the city. According to the display these fairs were originally held in Leipzig until the end of the war when due to the difficulties of traders being able to pass from West to East Germany it was moved to N?rnberg. Whether these fairs were the ones for these badges I do not know.
You are correct however that the fairs (& badges) were for company representatives & not for the general public.

I have an SS Totenkopf ring that was dark brown when it arrived, nicotine apparently, the previous owner kept it out on display & was a heavy smoker. Cleaned up beautifully.
I'm not good on BO's but from the very little info I've absorbed over the years, this does seem to have the three little dots in the centre arch that some people talk about.....

Very nice Robert. I've been trying to discover where these WHW shoots took place, with out much luck so far. As one of the eagles is the Tirolean style I assume it was there somewhere. Still more research to do.........

I've been thinking of this & I don't honestly think that it is feasible. There are about 1000 images in the general database alone at the moment, the time it would take to go through them & list them would be huge. Just moving the images takes ages, as an example, to move out just the KdF images took me a whole day.
I can't see that duplication of badges is a proplem myself. One reason that we have a database is so that collectors can compare images of badges from other collections with their own, in the hope that they can confirm whether perhaps a new purchase is genuine. Multiple images of a particular badge can help show if characteristics appear on several badges. I know as a collector of enamel badges that sometimes you have to see several identical design badges by the same maker before you can make a valid judgement as to whether a badge is good or not.

Flugtags are on the list, as are Reichparteitags. I'll also move the standards tinnies into the other thread we have on them.......
The problem with some of those you mention Claymore is that there are only one or two of a specific group in the old database. For instance I think that there are only two BDM tinnies on it so is it worth staring a new thread & moving them? Perhaps it is, I'm not a tinnie collector so am not sure.
Another question, do we have NSBO together with DAF? I was going to have them seperate but........
Also where do the tinnies like the one below belong, are they WHW or are they VDA? Does anyone know?

DAF & NSKOV have been cleared.
If I have missed any posts or if anyone feels I've put any in the wrong thread (some are not clear where they belong) please let me know & I'll correct it.

I'd forgotten just how small these things are, I'm so used to seeing them enlarged so much!
The Laur is 11.70mm & the Hoff 11.40mm
