I thought Ravenklau was from harry Potter, along with Slytherin, Huffelpuff etc ???? ;-)
Ahhh Chris, at last you've now spotted the Nazi undertones which exist in those books.............

Dan,
The 1984 tinnie should be in the Post 1945 forum not here. As you've already posted it there I've removed it from this section.

Rosenberg has very kindly provided me with a translation of the tickets:
This coupon can only be exchanged in the following goods, food, cloth and heating material. It has to be exchanged with these goods in equivalent value. Paying out any value differences is prohibited. Violation of that is a crime.
The Coupon can be used with any associated shop until 31 December 1939. Billing of the Coupons received is based on the rule on the backside...........
The reverse:
Name of Receiver: xxxx needs some time to decipher xxxxx
The recovery of the value exchanged with this Coupon will be processed latest by January 15th 1940 via every partner of the Reichsgroup "Banken"-most banks nationwide-
When returning more than 100 Coupons this has to be done in a bundle. The partner institutes will deliver the returned Coupons to the main divisons latest January 31st 1940. The final recovery through the Reichsbeauftragten WHW will be processed through the main divisions latest Febraury 15th 1940.
Now the right half where the Gra?l stamp is:
I hereby state to have received the following goods in exchange for this Coupon: Food, Cloth, Heating material.
So there you have it! Thanks Dan

Hi Bob,
Nice hats.
Is there any chance of a closer shot of the badge that's under the SS patch that the ladies are wearing please?

Here are some vouches/tickets that I picked up on a recent trip to Munich. I believe them to be a sort of ration ticket or gift voucher issued by the WHW to buy supplies with. Hopefully someone here maybe able to confirm or dispell this idea.

It's definitely a match! Right down to one short leg of the "M" in RZM & the round bottom to the 5 in 85.
Nice one.

Hi Bill,
First of all let me welcome you to the forum, I hope that you will enjoy your time here. I for one would love to see more as I know absolutely nothing about cloth, but have always admired the Polizei insignia.
Thanks for showing these & I'm looking forward to seeing more.

To be perfectly honest Robert, I can't honestly see that anyone would have made a convincing fake of this badge. The reason I say this is it's lack of a Swastika which immediately makes it less desirable. I would think the cost of making a passable copy compared to the number they would need to sell would negate it as a candidate for a quality job. Fakers are cleaver, they won't make something that is less like to produce a good return for their work.
Bottom line is if it is of a high quality construction etc & has the correct style pin plate that we would expect to see, then take a chance if it is a resonable price.

I was hoping that someone would be able to help you with this. Not my area as you know. I've been checking some of the sites I know for you, Wietze (I think, can't remember looked at so many
) has one but unfortunately doesn't show the reverse.

there is a 4 volume series of spiral bound books published by Mannions several years ago now and now long out of print - - but you maybe lucky and find them second hand.
Here are the covers of the books mentioned.
