Just noticed that you asked about the Danzig badge (sorry, I was distracted by the other goodies first time around
).
I've often wondered about this badge myself. It is in H?sken, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's kosher. Of the ones I've seen offered for sale, I've never yet seen one that has convinced me to part with my money....
What about you?

Hi Mike,
Welcome aboard!
Thanks for posting these great items. Until you have been a member for a while your upload limit will be low which means it will be difficult for you to put 2 images together without losing image size. Once you've been here a while your limit will be increased & it will be easier to do.
Keep 'em coming Mike!

Very nice little item Robert. I've no idea how it could be worn tho'....... Looks like it was a private purchase or jeweller made piece.
Thanks for showing it.

- enjoy it for what it is - - a hobby.
That's very true Dan, I think we sometimes lose track of that fact, at the end of the day it is just a hobby...... Although for me it's more of an addiction

I have heard a lot of references to the "Husken" book that has tinnies and stickpins. Can anyone direct me to purchasing one of these? Any information on the book is welcome.
Thanks,
Pat
This can be bought from http://www.huesken.com & costs about 35 Euros. It does not have any tinnies, it's a catalogue of enamel badges. No reverses are shown.

Pat,
Where are you buying your items? Because I'd find somewhere new.
I'm rather concerned about these, I'm not a tinnie collector as such but the pin configuration on these worries me. I've never seen it on a tinnie before & you have it on all of them & they are by different makers. I also don't like the reverse of the first one as it looks pitted.
James Noble & Ralf are big tinnie guys, perhaps if they are passing through they would be kind enough to comment.

Nice looking badge Robert. Unfortunately though I do not have any experiance of these so can not offer any opinion as to authenticity.
Hopefully someone else can help.

Very nice Robert.
These are one of those pins that you can never seem to find in a good condition, they are always a little tired looking.
Looking forward to seeing the book.

I don't think it's fake. At the worst it could be played with, as in the picture added later etc. I see rust marks on the last page where the dome of the clips touch the paper. Is there corresponding rust on the clips? The same for the front part of the books some rust but does it match the clips?

This badge is a commemorative award. It was awarded to all females who had honourably completed their service with the RADwj. It was a kind of "passing out award" & came in three grades metal, which was a dark zinc sort of colour, silver & gold.
I'm a little worried about yours as going by the pictures it looks cast, but it could just be the image.
Here's a picture of one in wear.

Thanks Stephen, I was hoping someone had one.
I've noticed a similarity with all of these that may just be an optical illusion, but it looks to me that the letter "R" in Ring looks larger than the one in Opfer..... anyone else see it?

Stephen,
I've often wondered about this picture, is he the winner of the lottery, or perhaps did he sell more tickets that any others in his area & receive a ticket or award/voucher? He must have been proud in any case to have his portrait taken, as it's a private photo not a press image. The wording on his folder says Dein Opfer, google comes up with your victim which I guess is not the case here
Here's the ticket, best I can do.

Here's the cap badge, matches the wording on the ticket. I'd love one of these badges.....

Robert,
There are some stamps but only for 1936. Nice pin, I won't post mine as it's the same, but I'm curious as to whether there are any maker marked ones out there, I've only seen Ges. Gesch.
