Dan,
Thank you for sharing those interesting pieces! I have never seen the bells before. I bet that there are not too many around anymore!!!
Very nice items. Funnily enough, you see the bells fairly often, they're quite collectable in themselves as I believe they were made by Allach.

Don, Thank you for bringing this one out to show us all. Would the fact that it has a serial number make it at all possible to research? The silver has tarnished beautifully. Now that is patina!! Do you have any idea how many of these were issued? Also, have these been copied as frequently as other Schutzstaeffel pieces?? Robert
Nice shooting pins Gentlemen.
Robert, thanks. Apparently these can be researched but I'm not sure how to go about it. I've no idea about how many were issued, how many Norwegians served in the SS? I guess the figure would be roughly the same.
Here is something else, not a stickpin, sorry, but fits with the GssN pin above. A Sponsoring members pin for the Germanske SS Norge, the SM stands for St?ttende Medlemmer. Again, silver marked & serial numbered.
The rainbow effect at the top of the badge is due to the glare of the scanner.

Nice badge, no idea about the mark I'm afraid.
Matt, the DRK were not covered by the RZM regulations so none of their badges are marked in that way.

Matt,
Very interesting. I didn't give the members badge or the black bordered a second thought
. I assumed that these would be the common ones, & was excited by the other colours..... I hadn't started to look into the availability of DAF badges when I received the news that the collection was up for sale, & so these are the first for my collection.

I wasn't going to show off again, but seeing as you insist........
I agree with Steve, they aren't rare, just fewer in numbers. As I've stated before Darrell, very nice find there, well done.

Need opinion on SA buckle please
in Germany: Third Reich: Uniforms, Headwear, Insignia & Equipment

Hi Dan,
I'm afraid that there aren't many (if any) buckle enthusiasts here. From what I see it looks to be a very nice original early period SA.
I haven't a clue re price though, sorry. You could try the valuation section of our forum http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showforum=120
