Here's one I picked up in the recent GMIC auction, a Reichsbund Deutscher Seegeltung (RDS).

The badge that Robert refers to in H?sken is for the Austrian Heimwehr.

That's better Peter, you can stay
I really like these Scandinavian items, I think they are very underated by Third Reich Collectors. If you have more perhaps we could start a seperate thread for them?

Robert, I can't argue with that
Don, I didn't think it was worth opening a new thread for this little spy, but instead of letting it fall into oblivion, I decided to post it here. The details on the rope are quite amazing.

Peter,
It never ceases to amaze me just how skilled the people who made the dies for these must have been. We take this sort of thing for granted nowdays with modern machines & cutters, but 70 years ago it was all done by hand.

This is even more off topic .

Oi! Who let that red spy in.........
Nice pin Peter, not to my taste, but nice
Like the RAD pin Robert. I recently came across a picture of one of these being worn by a young soldier, haven't managed to secure it yet.....

Robert, now it's my turn to be impressed.......... a Reichverband deutscher Fleischbeschauer-und Trichinenschauer-Verb?nde pin, very nice. I assume unmarked?
I'd had the picture for quite sometime before the pin arrived quite unexpectedly through the post from a good friend of mine who thought I'd like one.......

Don,
your is truly a first timer for me.If I am not confused by this it should be the 2nd type and I guess it is even rarer than the first type?

Thanks. They can be hard to find at times. Here is a picture of one in wear.

Nice pins James.
Robert,
Yes it was one of those Nationalistic groups. There are a number of forms & variants of these, the reverse is totally unmarked.
Here's another I recently received, also unmarked.

Back to famine by the looks of things......
Here's mine, also Neff.
Can't really comment on your Westmark as I can't say 100% that mines genuine.

Sorry Ralf, we seem to be posting together
Thanks for that. I'm thinking of doing a study of the known makers of various enamel pins/badges. I've made a start on the Kleing?rtner on another forum, the SA Reserve II was going to be one of my next targets

Robert,
Regarding the other RLB pin. Cone may be vague about it but it did exist. Here's a pic in wear.

Close up of the mark, the scanner doesn't really pick it up too well.

Some nice pins there lads.
Ralf,
Are all of the SA II Reserves different makers?
Robert,
No problem, here it is, the maker seems to be etched into the back it says E. Schmidhaussler, Pforzheim.
