A.G. & co pieces are only found as bronze, silver & gold 1939 & the Kleinkaliber 1940 badges.
A.G. & co marked badges are very controversial. Many believe them to be fake, the main reason being that so far no one has been able to identify who exactly A.G. & co were (if they existed during the period).
However the badges are not cast copies or made with old dies as there are die differences between the Poelatth & the AG pieces. Both Poellath & the AG pieces are magnetic & they also have the same measurements....
So if they are fake then someone went to great lengths to make them the same.

Welcome to the forum.
The badge you have is what is generally known as a "tinnie". These are small badges sold to the public at various events to raise money, usually for the NSDAP.
John has explained this particular event in his first post above.
Thank you for posting it.

Thats a cool revival guys! Don,I assume these are all the years available or is there a 39 one missing? Are these made of tombac or also some precious metal type like somewhat above these were?
Good to hear from you again!!!
No just tombac. I've only ever seen these years. So far I have not seen a 1939. They also came in bronze & silver grade, but these are very rare, much rarer than the gold.

I must admit that I've had it for many years, which is why it took me so long to find the images that I had on file.
No sorry, I've only this version....

Hi Alec,
Very nice tinnie. I've seen them a few times over the years but have no more info on them or the events I'm afraid as they are outside of my area of interest.
Thanks for showing it.

I Remembered yesterday afternoon that I'd seen a related set somewhere, it's taken me ages to remember where..... Finally found it on Weitze's site for 750 euro.

Very nice John.
There is a tinnie with the same design on, here is a pic that I have of it in wear (at least it looks the same to me).
Cheers

This is the Reichjugendsportsabzeichen. I believe the stickpin version was for boys & the brooch was for girls.

This is not a serial number it's just part of the maker mark of Christian Laur, 1790 is the year that the company was founded.

You are correct, these are generally considered to be fakes.
