That's a nice one too Robert.
I was flicking through the Uniformenmarkt the other day & came across this in the Jan 1939 edition.

It would be nice to know if there is another letter under that pin Robert, the gap between the A. & the T is quite large....

One can only wonder what criteria had to be met in order to wear one of these. Perhaps they are leaders' badges ?? All The best
No idea, they are supposed to be for wives & daughters, so if they were in bronze silver & gold, then maybe prizes for competitions etc However, if as listed they were only silver & gold, then maybe just a product that could be purchased as a gift from the local branch?
Here's a badge from a local group "Stadtgruppe Neukölln". I suspect pre Sept '38 as that seems to be the date that the Bund badge was introduced.

Very nice Robert, thank you for showing it.

Don Altgoldfarben?
I would imagine so. Although I have suspected for a few years that maybe, just maybe they may have come in bronze silver & gold. No real evidence for bronze ones except for the occasional one that doesn't quite look like the altgold.....
Having said that, I've never yet managed to find any period proof that any of these brooches existed, one day hopefully.

Very nice. It's strange, but for some reason the 10 year is harder to find than the other anniversary pieces.....
Thanks for posting it.
Looking back through the thread again I see that I neglected to post the membership card that I have.

Now the above DOAV is the usual version marked to Wagner, however there are Deschler marked pieces around, much harder to find.
The differences are noticable, less blackening to the obverse to bring out the highlights & the pin plate is held on by aluminium extrusions through holes in the plate. Unusually for Deschler, the maker mark is raised rather than impressed.

And the real tough one of the group to find, DAOV made in Aluminium & marked to Ferd Wagner, Phorzheim....

GAO, Deschler once again

NSAO. Marked to Deschler.
I believe that there is another manufacturer variant for these but I haven't tracked one down yet

Sorry for the delay, I never seem to get 5 minutes to myself these days....
Firstly here is a pic of the set.

I suspected as much, but wanted to check just in case. Thank you for posting them though. I'll dig my images out later....

Welcome to the forum Jock.
Thank you for bringing this thread to the top again & for posting your badges. Is it an just an illusion or is one of the badges larger than the other? In your first picture they look different sizes, but in the next they seem the same....
I'll dig out some pictures of the examples that I have picked up since this thread was created & post them later.

Hi Joe,
Yes it is a tad thicker although it's not so noticable in hand.

That's a nice find Robert. I guess that maybe we could start a fresh thread for these, there are plenty of them...
Here is probably the most sought after of the bronze grade & the toughest to find, 1944

As I said it is tiny only 13mm. Here is a comparison with the normal stickpin & the full size member pin.

Thank you Gentlemen.
Recently find a tiny stickpin for these, marked to Hoffstätter.....

Hi Alec,
Yes, I hope some other members do post them if they have them... Originals are VERY rare.

And then this beauty Kreisleitung Neustadt in Schw. This is for Neustadt in Schwarzwald, an area in the Black Forest region.

A very rare Ortsgruppe Fürth-Mitte, 4131o (4118f)

I thought I'd brush the dust off this old topic & bring it to the top again.
Here is a rather over polished & tired Kreis Leitung Heidelberg, 4131q (4118h for those with the 1997 copy)....
