    3. Possibly on the French front in the St Mihiel pocket? Its about the only Austrians I find there that late in the war. The German report says it crumbled fast because of the low quality troops that were there, esp. the Austrians (according to the report)
    4. Have you seen any others without that little spouty thing on it? Best chris
    5. Good, I was worried that all WW1 ones needed a stamp. I guess my EUR3 was not wasted after all :-)
    6. Hi, no makers marks that I can recognise. On the reciever of the grooved one is No4Mkk1 ROF (F) 8/43 Ah...ROF I guess... who is that? Other one is the same but made in 45
    7. Hi, he also had a late 1918 EK2 :-) Any idea where they served? Thanks Chris

    9. I am going WW1 equipement crazy although I did not want any initially, just documents... How many kinds of these are there?
    10. I just picked one up today, is is made in 1943, but has what I think are israeli stamps on it. along the top there are 4 thin grooves that run in the wood on each side... the other does not have it... anyone know what they are thee for? A different model? The non grooved one has "DP" stamped on it. (for Drill Purposes)
    11. Just bought this for grandaddys pocket watch, it hangs over the round part of thestand. Next to it an inkwell, written on the bottom it says from the prop of a plane that crashed in 1918
    12. Hi, this has no date on it but initials and a regt number scratched on it... Any idea if it is WW1?
    13. Hi, WW2 South African. When i was akid they were all over the place. I found this one about 3 years ago at a flea market in Cape Town. Filled with junk modern badges. I asked "How much" and she gave a ridiculous price (for the badges)... I told here they were way out of my price range ...maybe I could just take the tin ;-)
