Pushing fake medal bars too

The market has been flooded with fakes of every class of the Albert Order, many have faked maker marks. Unfortunately, a constant offering of his. I guess I’m just really surprised that so many buyers are willing to bid. One would think that a bidder of reasonable intellect and experience would seriously consider and question how one seller would have a never ending supply of pretty scarce pieces!

This one’s been floating around eBay.de for months, opening bid is 500-Euro. I do agree with Lew that it’s a legitimate Scharffenburg example.

Hi Jason, I usually back-check myself with Daniel, he liked the bar, but that was his comment. And it is a little boring. Unsure if we have an NCO with a St. Henry Medal, bumped up to Leutnant and then received his Albert. Or just a brave junior officer with a couple RK. Either way I’m okay. Anything St. Henry makes me pretty happy these days! And I’ve always loved the FAM! I wouldn’t touch an Albert or Merit Order anymore as sadly, the market has been flooded with fakes.
