    1. Well, Good Morning My Friends! This rather simple and interesting medal bar went off on eBay.de for an astonishing 8,938-Euro! I have no idea what the third medal is, never seen this one before. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! 53 bids!
    2. Sorry, first picture was cut off for some reason, now it’s the last one
    3. Found this one on eBay.de. A new one for me. At quick glance, it appears to be an early St. Henry with a fixed crown. But it’s not, the crown is movable/hinged. The color of the gold is what initially caught my eye. Upon closer examination the craftsmanship, especially the enamel, color of enamel, details and appearance of all components look pretty suspect to me. Seems very crude for what it’s supposed to be. First two images from the listing. Second two from a known original, pre-1871, in a Friend’s collection. The listed cross doesn’t conform to either known early versions, or later silver-gilt examples. Has someone come up with a new attempt to deceive? What the heck is this supposed to be??
    4. Good Morning Vince! Nice topic! Used to have a bunch of these, many St. Henry pairings. Sorry I don’t have the pictures anymore. There was a rather spectacular one on eBay.de awhile back. 7 different awards including the St. Henry. The opening bid was insane though!
    5. I can’t make up my mind on this one. 605–Euro. I know there’s excellent copies out there but I really like the details, enamel work, ribbon segment and box. Opinions please? Thanks in advance for your feedback.
    6. Like I said, busy week! This one brought 437-Euro!
    7. I would agree, I believe the Second Class came in a paper packet
    8. A busy week in Germany, common medal in uncommon condition, 258-Euro
    9. This one disappeared before I even got a shot at it! Scarce oversized case. 680-Euro!!
    10. This interesting bar just closed on eBay.de at 805-Euro!
    11. Thanks! I’ve actually had two that had tissue, or something similar, inside holding the cross. I have no clue at this point who the makers were!
    12. Nice to see this, I think it’s a mid-printed KO stamp. Only thing missing is the internal tissue. eBay.de, 142-Euro
    13. Again! Same seller, once a week and they keep buying! Fake engraving! Fake case! Fake badge (and a really awful one at that!). $406
    14. Here’s a fake Friedländer PLM that sold for $1135!! The usual suspect. This seller dumps one a week, various “makers”. Please note the similarities to the one posted recently in a separate thread. I’m sorry but I’m still astonished every time someone buys this garbage.
    15. Good Morning Chris! That last medal bar is spectacular! Is it yours?? Very hard to find a mounted example with the jubilee button!!
