Thank you very much once again.
For Otto Ciliax, I decided to keep only the Spanish Order of Naval Merit 3rd Class with White Decoration, with the Spanish award date of 21 August 1939, and the German approval date of 16 May 1940. Both dates are confirmed in his Personalakte I posted earlier.
Nice

Remember that the other yellow and blue distinctives are only from 1995, never before2. For the above, I think that only one class, but I do not know the category, distinctive or date
3. According to Archive Documents the red (rojo) Crosses were also granted, but they were generally with white Distinctive. In this document of the Avila Archive, there is no date of the Great Cross of the Naval Merit of Admiral Canaris (no consta)
Good Job

I have to include this medal on the list, despite I never had the occasion to see one with my own eyes.
This is the Queen Margrethe II & Prince Hendrik Silver Jubilee Wedding Commemorative Medal 1967-1992
Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark is wearing this medal on his medal bar (first row, at extreme right).
If any one has a good close up color photo of this medal, he is most welcome to post it here.
Regards to all.
Emmanuel
Great display Thank you

Yes indeed, but what I think is particularly curious. Is the fact that it doesn’t appear that it is intended to be back dated for anything specific. Like Covid, Grenfell or the recent earthquakes in Turkey for example.
So does this make it the first British medal to be created for an event that hasn’t yet come to pass?

Yes, it is a mystery and scary at the same time what will be next in the future God knows. Does He?

Well done Ilieff

Also, another thing I worked on is that poster you pasted in snippets from. Here's the original digitised version: https://royalbulgariaincolour.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/poster_20s_45X60cm.pdf
I am not too sure, but I think this is a later rework of an old Imperial Russian Intelligence report which has many inconsistencies when it comes to Bulgarian uniforms. Still, interesting read.
Well done IIlieff

I found a highe-resolution image of the Froment-Meurice made District Court badge in its case that I previously illustrated as the 5th photo in my post of 22September, 2022. This image comes from an archived on the Drouot.com website (https://drouot.com/en/l/18392233-insigne-de-juge-de-tribunal-mixte-par-froment-meurice-france). This listing did not include the images of the obverse and reverse of this badge that were illustrated separately in the Millon website where I originally found the illustrations of this badge as Lot 322 of a 15 June, 2022 auction (https://www.millon.com/catalogue/vente1688-manuscrits-arts-dorient-et-de-linde-juin-et-juin/lot322-insigne-de-juge-de-tribunal-mixte-par-froment-meurice). I illustrated the separate photos of the obverse and revere as the 3rd and 4th photos in my 22 September, 2022 post. Photos from this auction also are archived on La Gazette Drouot (https://www.gazette-drouot.com/en/lots/18392233-insigne-de-juge-de-tribunal-mixte-par-froment-meurice).
Above is a better-resolution photo of this District Court gold and silver badge from a 15 June, 2022 auction (Lot 322) than the photo I included in my 22 September, 2022 post along with two other photos of this badge. As noted in that post, the calligraphy matches what I have termed Froment-Meurice group 2 style. I am uncertain whether Millon or Drouot were the auction houses that sold this badge. As noted, the badge with the same description and Lot # are listed on both of their sites. The original, uncropped version of the above photo on Drouot (https://drouot.com/en/l/18392233-insigne-de-juge-de-tribunal-mixte-par-froment-meurice-france) does have a watermark in the upper right reading: "M Auction", suggesting Millon is the source auction. This photo can be zoomed for some additional detail lacking in the posted 22 September, 2022 version.
Amazing work Thank you for sharing it

Maybe for useful information.
and so on
Although this is the era of the use of army colors and has entered the early days of socialist Bulgaria, but during this period of time it still retains the similar color selection of the army in the kingdom period, which has certain reference significance.
The file size of this scanned poster doesn't allow me to upload it all on the forum, I have to upload it separately.
Sorry I couldn't find a clearer image about this. Most of the text remains invisible.
Very nice Steve

interesting fact It was known many White Army Officers went to Kingdom of Bulgaria and later migrated to other countries
I suppose during his stay in Bulgaria he was awarded this St Alexander order with swords in the middle.
It is more interesting The year of the photo is 1999,, which make the first option a bit odd !!??

Apraksin Yard (also Apraxin Dvor; Russian: Апраксин Двор) is a market and retail block in Saint Petersburg, Russia, covering 14 hectares (35 acres). It is currently under a massive long-term renovation project. The buildings of Apraksin Dvor stand between Sadovaya Street and the Fontanka River, just southwest of the Alexandrinsky Theatre.
The first market there began in the mid-18th century, deriving its name from Count Apraksin who owned the plot. After a merchant named Shchukin purchased a portion of it, that part became known as Shchukin Dvor. The market buildings were wooden and burnt to the ground in 1782.
A new department store, built to a design by Geronimo Corsini, was opened in the vicinity in 1863. Over the next decade, more than 45 shops were constructed in the area. In 1913, Apraksin Dvor contained more than 500 shops. A further 270 small wholesale enterprises were located in the grounds of Shchukin Dvor.
After the Russian Revolution of 1917, most buildings of Apraksin Dvor were given over to use as depots and warehouses.
By the beginning of the 21st century, Apraksin Dvor was a large city of block of small, downmarket shops facing the street with an open-air market – mostly clothing and accessories – on the inside: an enormous downmarket retail area in the middle of the ever more upscale city center. A long-term renovation plan was instituted; the market stalls were removed in 2008–09 to the Grazhdansky Rynok market (see article on Russian Wikipedia) on the periphery of the city. There are plans to turn the area into a modern, pleasant retail, office, residential, hotel and cu
I hope this will help
