    1. German Clejuso adjustable handcuffs with key circa 1940s, manufactured in Germany at Clemen & Jung OHG's factory in Solingen. There are no markings on the handcuffs or the key. You twist the key in a screwing motion to open or close the handcuffs. I communicated via email with Mr. Alex Pleithner of Clemen & Jung about this set, he has indicated that his firm has made this style of cuff up until 1960 and the key is consistent with their model. However the handcuffs produced by them were nickel-plated and due to the complete destruction of company records in WW11 he is not able to say if other finished cuffs were produced. I can say this; due to wartime conditions German production faced extreme reductions in quality control. This set shows ?NO? sign of ever having a nickel-plating, which probably would have been dropped due to the wartime materials restriction. German coinage went from silver to a base metal at this time! Considering this, it is highly likely that these were in fact produced during this critical period of the war in Europe. Because they are not rusted out and still work as well as they do, have the crude wartime finish, can be identified by mister Alex Pleithner of Clemen & Jung, I feel comfortable calling them circa 1940 German Clejuso Darby adjustable handcuffs.
    2. List the link I would be interested in visiting the site as I own a Manhattan Percussion Navy Revolver
    3. Here is what it might be 'based on just one photo and an incomplete description.' Manhattan Firearms Company, of New York (to 1863) and Newark New Jersey, c. 1861-8. 22; seven shot. A near-facimile of the Smith & Wesson No. 1 with a cylinder-catch on the lower part of the frame instead of the upper. The American Standard Tool Company arose from a reorganisation of this company. A.B. Zhuk This pistol has a spur trigger, chambering a rimfire cartridge 'that was the first type of metal-cased cartridge', the gun when in up hinged position should allow the barrel to be removed.
    4. A friend of mine has an excellent German Alosco dress bayonet with no engraving. The bayonet has a brown leather frog, undamaged sheaf with only minor paint loss, and with a green and silver portepee. The portepee is on a black leather strap that is unbroken and in an overall very good state of preservation. The blade is chromed with only very slight scuffing and high edge in/out marks ?really very beautiful condition. The grips are black plastic with what look like correct rivets and the handle is alloy with chrome coat that is roughly 97% or very little finish loss to it. I am sorry I have no photos for you, but I will see if I can arrange with him to photo it next week. This piece is a real beauty! I am sorry I do not have any photos, I will try to photo the item by next week! I was hoping some of you would give me your honest opinion ?based on my description? of what a ROUGH value on this should be? Thanks' to all!
    5. I think nesredep is right! My statement about it being a German military proof was a little bluntly put, but none the less the mark indicates acceptance by the German military!
    6. I am looking for opinions as to age of this knife. Please help!
    7. I have seen this dagger and I do not believe it to be a fake! If possable I will submit link! heck this site out! Italian Fascist Dagger with Hanger (Item I-FAS 1-6) DESCRIPTION: Here is the classic M.V.S.N. Model 1937 dress dagger with double chain hanger and the gold and black portepee like the Model 1932. The Model 1937 grip is unusual in that its features face the trailing edge rather than the more normal leading edge. The face of the belt snap has a large Roman eagle outlined in black paint over the letters ?SPQR,? Senatus Populus Que Romanus, (For the Senate and the People of Rome). The ?MVSN,? Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale, (Volunteer Militia for National Security) is more commonly called the ?Black Shirts.? This dagger is in excellent plus condition. It was worn of course, but never abused. The blade is mint! The gold-plated scabbard tip is tarnished to a small degree; however, this does not detract from the overall beauty of this rare and historically important Fascist weapon. Length in scabbard is 14 inches. Very few of these ever show up. http://www.germaniainternational.com/italy.html
