Picked up this nice portrait on Ebay for $5.00 after the seller described it as a "Luftwaffe Leutnant with DRL badge."
I was the only bidder. It pays to look closely at photos, You never know what details are lurking there.

My most interesting signature is a signed photo of Werner Grahn in full uniform as an Untersturmfuhrer in the SD.
Grahn later served at Mathausen-Gusen Concentration Camp, was convicted of war crimes after the war, sentenced to death and executed on 28 May, 1947.

RAD leader Konstantin Hierl. Behind his arm (with medals) is that Generalarbeitsfuhrer Fritz Schinnerer?

Hi Martin,
You are correct. In my haste to post the photo I misidentified the badge.

Hi Martin,
Sorry I didn't see your post before I replied to Norm. Nice photos and additional information regarding the types of uniforms
worn by KM personnel. The Prinz Eugen (Destroyer Badge) photo I posted earlier shows him in KM blue with the DB worn on his jacket.
This photo is from a small Prinz Eugen lot which in some photos shows him wearing the field grey uniform as well. I naturally thought that
seeing he was wearing field grey he must have been transfered to land based duties. Going by yours and Norm's replies this may not be the case.
Cheers,
Larry

Hi Norm,
Thanks for the additional information. Looking at the photo I agree with you, he is probably in his early 40's.

Not easy to see but he is wearing an E boat badge.

That is nice! I wonder if he was on ships or in the Marine Arty in Belgium
Hi Chris,
The photo is a bit of a puzzle. Is he old enough to have earned a WW1 wound badge?
The Coastal Artillery NCO trade badge on his sleeve would suggest he was land based.
I am not an expert on uniforms but did land based Kriegsmarine troops wear that type of uniform?

HI larry,
my references show that there were 4 Torpedobootshalbflottille.
Is there any writing on the reverse of the photo that might indicate where the photo was taken ??
Regards,Martin.
Thanks guys. Unfortunately nothing on the back of the photograph.
