How many photos show both classes of the Silesian Eagle being worn at the same time.
Here is a Heer Administration Official wearing two Silesian Eagles.

Hi Paul,
Here are two photos of what I have been told are a Oberfeldpolizeidirektor in the GFP.
I posted this in another thread, it had a lot of people look at it but no replies.
Can you or anyone else positively identify the branch of service he was in.
Cheers,
Larry

Gentlemen,
These last posts look like Schutzenverein shoulder boards to me. I can not find pictures of these exact boards in wear but if you follow the link below you will see similar boards in wear in the picture. Scroll to the bottom and you will find a list of ranks used in this particular Schutzenverein. A lot of them will look familiar. Unfortunately, no shoulder boards are illustrated with the rank designations.
Regards,
Gordon

I have now been told he is actually an Oberfeldpolizeidirektor (Oberstleutnant) in the GFP, the Luftwaffe secret field police.
I am still no closer to identifying him though.

Hi,
This is my first post here. I am looking to identify the officer in this photo.
A caption under the photo looks to read: "Oberkriegsgerichtsrat D. Schleich."
Exhaustive searches of the net have failed to turn up ant Schleich who held the rank of Oberkriegsgerichtsrat.
He wears the Order of the Crown of Romaina, Commander Cross which I believe only 150 were awarded.
Can anyone help identify this man or supply links to information that may help in my search.
Much appreciated,
LarryT
