Hi, i like to share my observation base on my Order of Pillars 1st and 3rd class collection base on my observation i try to measure the length from bottom to top of the medal (ring loop no included) 1st = 69 mm 3rd = 68 mm in Thickness it also has a difference ( Enamel portion still not included, only the outer most side) 1st = 4 mm (photo #3 left side) 3rd = 3 mm (photo #3 right side) Has bigger ring loop the 3rd class My 1st class has no "M" mark on top Thank you

The book is an old Japanese book from 70's or 80's ( not sure need to check it again), the book cover is in the left side of the photo, inside it has an article of few pages about the badge but i can read it. yes the description is beside the photo of the badge, it is say about during the Sept 2, 1944, with some squad numbers. cant read it very detail.
    5. Ya Mr. Nick, i think it was awarded in a victorious operation after the mission, to the pilots???
    6. That is not an ordinary cheap badge ......it was made during WW2 era for Navy Pilot and it is rare also. see photos but sorry cant read it.

    9. I see, Thank you Mr. Marvyn for the reply and info.... Zhang Zongchang has been in Russian also in his early age (so he might have that dagger in Russia?) and later became a warlord in China... he also didn't reach the world war 2, more on Sun Yat-sen era only. Thank you

Hi everyone may i ask if anyone know something about this dagger. i have polish the rusted area of the dagger and it is cleaned now it has some unknown words near the handle (machine made) and engraving Chinese words (hand made) 張宗昌贈 - left 事到萬難須放胆 - right i have seen a same engrave writings also in this Chinese forum http://www.sdshbsh.cn/tnqs/387.html i have post the old rusted image and cleaned
    11. Wow $100,000, i think price before are higher, due to no much people have internet those days, and cant compare prices easily also or do research (unlike today just set on your computer with internet all information are there already) just need to search it.
    12. Wondering why the Order of Golden kite is much expensive? than the Order of Chrysanthemum and Paulownian, but all are same rare medals also.

    15. ya you right Mr. Nick and they are more color silver in birds area, rather than the other one have golden color.... don't know if there is difference in 1st class set breast star, and 2nd class breast star. what do you think Mr. Nick?
