Sorry, but I don't like this bar.
Prussia, Brunswik, Lippe and Hannover together?
Combatants and Noncombatants on one bar? Positioning of the medals?
Red backside looks modern for me...

Hi
I am a bit interested in that Hptm Martin Sopp from IR 56.
As he later died two days after the War ended after being badly wounded in action, is it possible to find his date and place of birth..?
Gunnar
Hi Gunnar,
this will be difficult.
In my rolls he was an Oberleutnant and received EK2, EK1 HOH3X, EH3bX. Thats all what I have and know.

I like this bar.
The combination is a little bit stange, but possible.

Hallo Rujab!

Yes, correct.
Here you can see two examples of late official Crosses. Late means in this case 1917-1918.

This one is from 1920-1940 period. This means this is not an official MVK1.

I am glad to find the mecklenburg-strelitz long service medal for landwehr --- but:
Is this combination with the LDA2 of Strelitz AND the one of prussia plus their 12year DA possible?
Hope to get some help,
regards
westfale
Sorry to say that, but this is not Strelitz! It's Schwerin and no, this combination is impossible.

Hi Chris,
thank you for sharing this wonderfull medal bar. I have seen this beauty in Vienna already, but I lost the auction... :banger:
Unfortunately here is no possibility for identification, because I have found 10 person with the same combination of medals.
Sorry for that...
The Kriegervereins-medal is rare, but with a number of more than 200 arwarded pieces not so rare for a mecklenburgian medal.
The hugh silver merit medal was more than 1000 times given out...
Best regards from China
