    1. It means 'To Each His Own'. It doesn't really relate to the Leibhusarenregiment, but it's on the guard star and imperial Orders.
    2. Glenn & Rick. That's great information. Many thanks to you both. One last thing - what was his first name?
    3. And here are some more of the names of the donor officers, who might give a clue as to the date. Can anyone with better knowledge of Imperial research than me lend a hand here? Thanks.
    4. I have just received this goblet. It was presented to Rittmeister Hemmerde by the Officer Corps of the 1st Leibhusaren Regiment. It is engraved with the names of 27 donor officers, who read like a 'Who's Who' of German nobility. It's made by Wagner in 750 silver. The thing is - there's no date on it. Can anyone tell me who Rittmeister Hemmerde was, and when he served in the Leibhusaren? Judging by the engraving, I think it might be mid-19th Century. Here's the front.
    5. Looks OK to me. An enlisted man's/NCO's patch for the Kaiserslautern SS Standarte c.1933-4.
    6. Anyone seen this type before? It's coming from Braunau-am-Inn, of all places.
    7. But is there any way of getting details on the original owner - a Gefreiter?
    8. No base plate. Sorry - I don't have scales. But it's HEAVY.
    9. I think the second one from the bottom has distinct possibilities.
    10. Darrell. It's mine. I've had it for 20-odd years. The only DK in Gold I've ever owned. I also have a standard '1' marked Deschler DK in Silver which is identical in every way to this Gold one. The Gold DK seems to be a standard Deschler, but with a Zimmermann pin mark. Could Deschler have sold stocks to Zimmermann? Who knows?
    11. Here's how the Germans saw their Crown prince, in his Death's Head Hussar uniform......
