    1. Handsome bar that looks well made. Where do you find this kind of item?
    2. The Flying Dutchman reminded me that I have an invisible navy dagger I wish to share with all of you...
    3. Magnificent blades, Dutch! Just superb!
    4. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, so that's where they went! Very nice, Mike. What is the backing material in your Riker mounts?
    5. So far I'm voting for Chet's 2X as most unique. Think this is my last 3X bar, nice but not unique.
    6. The compact Wurtemburg bar is interesting and the flaming independence of the Saxons is obvious from their bars!
    7. The only RZM piece I have is an early NSKK with nickel silver fittings and a very unique scabbard made by Eichhorn.
    8. and here is probable non combatant frackbar. The metal is gold on the RAO & KO and the KO is maker marked.
    9. Santa Claus just leaves presents...like for free...the dude is not a capitalist. Now is that the image you wish to project? If it is then I will do a better job of exploiting it!
    10. Unusual to find a survivor's cross mounted. This home front german endured some sacrifices...
    11. Jason, neat stuff. I really enjoy the variety of methods used to display campaign clasps on a medal bar. This next 2X is the rarest one in my collection.
    12. Not everybody got something. Sometimes all one had to show for a career might have looked like this...
    13. I'm sure you guys have some nifty 2X and 3X bars so let's post some and have a peek... Here is my first offering, 3 bravery decorations from different states to one man.
    14. Nothing quite so political as that. There is a bureaucracy already in place that sees to the design and procurement of such things. This is some civil servants notion of what is historically appropriate. I am quite certain the predominance of khaki in the ribbon colors represents sand, etc, etc.
    15. Mr. Chairman: With respect to the comparison of the MOH to the VC perhaps a comparison of awards made as a percentage or ratio of forces involved may put things in a more appropriate perspective rather than just raw award numbers.
