Note on that last one - and going forward - many advertise on their reverses the next fair's dates. This one gets in a pitch for the maker's other wares as well.

This next series of two dozen or more posts deserves a thread of their own. My Leipzig Fair collection. It's incomplete; I've been working on it for years. They are not too glamorous, and in most instances the reverses are the more interesting parts. They read like a compendium of German badge-makers and jewelers.
