    1. Is that the same group which was to sell by Weitze ? Beautiful group, but not for my wallet
    2. Does somebody has pics of other variants than the 3 already discussed here ? jacques
    3. I though it was a drawing, but you're surely right. What's about these cut out area between the bones and the whreath that do not fit with the first catalog picture ? is it a retouched photo ? or another variant from this manufacturer.
    4. NCO
    5. Known pic of Becker with a badge which looks like the Schickle manufacture. All these badges are observed on post 1939 pics.
    6. The second one I know showing a guy named Tonk ?? the pic come from a book of which I don't remember the name.
    7. Dirlewanger was instructor to Infantry school (May-oct1937; aug 1938-may 1939)-. You can see on that pic the top of his spansih cross.
    8. Here is another picture of Z?ndorf. May be he is wearing the badge you shown. Winkler was/is selling a badge describe as coming from Z?ndorf. I have several pics of him and it seems that he had seveal different badges.
    9. An NCO with the SC in silver
    10. same
    11. same badge
    12. Here is an early picture of a PzGr. Drohne member. I think that he is wearing the awarded badge.
    13. Personnally I don't like too much the 2 last one.
    14. I didn't miss the thread on WAF. As I said previously, I agree your badge look the same as on the catalog. the 2 I shown have a pin of which the form look close to some Juncker's pins. That is just a way of relexion, and not an assertion .
    15. Are you so sure of this flaw on the catalog badge ? On the catalog, it is not a picture but a drawing. there is no reason to show on a drawing for a catalog (advertising) such a detail, which is not a proof of quality for the firm. I do not contest the originality of the badge nor its Schickle manufacture appartenance; the obverses look similar. the two badges I shown look similar too, except the reverse of which the pin is different. jacques
    16. Here are two badges which look like Otto Schickle catalog.
    17. badge from Otto Schickle's catalog shown on the links presented by Brian. Differences can be observed between the badge and the catalog, due to the fact that it is a drawing. For exemple, on the catalog , the panzer seems to be on a ground, which is not encontered on the real badges. Moreover the reverse is never shown , so it is difficult to determine the system of attachment.
    18. Here is the illustation of the wear of the Otto Schickle variant. this manufacture is easy to recognise because of the leaves which are well cut.
    19. Here is a picture of an NCO of the Pz.Rgt.6, which I think illustrate the wear of the above badge variant.
    20. Rick, that's right, the signature is a fac-simile. I'm looking for such a document. It is not scarce, but I want one in very good condition. Your is punched and seems to be cut, or it is just the scan . Note, no point after the date, typicle KM doc. jacques
    21. Am I alone to have such pics ? please share yours
    22. Period pictures taken in Spain then later during the war show variants of this scarce badge. According to the first pictures taken in Spain, it seems that 2 variants exist. I don't know where they were manufactured (Locally, Lisabon, Germany ?) nor the manufacturer. On the pictures taken later, after the return of the LC to Germany and during the war, other variants can be identified. Some still wear they previous badge acquired during Spain campaign, other got a new one to the german market, manufactured by a german firm (Otto Schickle, H. Werstein, and may be others). If anyone own a period catalog of firms proposing such badges, he is welcome to share some scans . Here is a badge which is commonly attributed to the firm Werstein and known as original.
    23. another
    24. I observed on period pics and on original ribbons/Medal bars that they are sometimes mounted in the wrong order, against I suppose, german regulations. Foreign orders are generally mounted after the national medals, at the end, chronologically. Moreover, the spanish medals such as "Medalla de la campa?a, Medalla Militar, Cruz roja , cruz blanca" were not delivered with swords, nevertheless, germans used to wear them with swords on the ribbons of their ribbons bar or medals bar.
    25. I wish you to get some soon
