Hi Did he seved within the LC before or after being Officer candidate ? On the pics he don't wear any of the spanish war decorations (spanish cross, ribbons bar), so I guess the pics was taken before, or he didn't stay enough longer in Spain to get the commemoratives medals. jacques

Yes, I do think it is a variation of Ega?a and WW2 period made. later or previous crosses don't have the same design. If you look at the pictures, comparing german awardees and spanish Azul Div members, they are differences. May be our Spanish friends have more informations ? Friendly jacques

Hi Gordon, I guess that all the LC members were awarded with the spnish cross , at least when entitled to according to the regulations mentioned by James. The KIA were awarded either with the SC bronze, silver or Gold, depending of the action in which they lost their live. The family received the Next of kin cross. friendly jacques
