I don't have the information about the action which led the Ehrenbecher to be awarded to then Obltn Falke, but I can imagine it was because the sabotage mission behind the lines in 1917... see below...

@ Pierce: Thanks for your kind words.
His CV, written as presentation letter, for his career... quite an interesting WWI service status, I must say... after the Palestinian/Ottoman front he was transferred back to France where, during a bombing mission over Paris, was taken prisoner.
