Here is a full set to a Dutch Marine NCO who got a Member (Lid) grade award in the Order of Oranje Nassau AND a Bronze Cross (Bronzen Kruis) bravery award. This is a ultra rare combination in a modern group.
Wow! Such a remarkable medal bar!

Very nice collection Alex! It's nice to see the difference between old and new officer's cross.

Amazing! Do you have any information about the man?

Thank you very much for the information Aahauge!
The seller is asking around 15$ so it's a great deal.

Actually the 4th Class is around 55.6mm (depending on version) and the 5th Class is only 45mm. So besides the rosette there's also difference in size ?
Best regards Aahauge
Didn't know that, thank you for the additional information!

Such a beautiful bar! What's the first medal? Something Ottoman I guess.

I think it is a genuine piece but is there any way to know if it was awarded? I've read that there are a lot of unawarded pieces but I think it's not the case with this one.
It is currently for sale at a local pawn shop. I'm guessing it could have been awarded to one of the Yugoslav Partisans since I'm from that area.
Any help will be appreciated!

No problem Dave!
Unfortunately, these badges are very common and you really can't say when they were made. The only possible information you get is from the screwplate which tells you who made it.

It's a Yugoslav People's Army border troops badge made by Aurea Celje. Pretty common but in a rough shape.
It's hard to tell anything more.

Around 5€ on a flea market for the set which indeed isn't a set but just a bunch of random pins.
Nice piece of memorabilia nontheless!

Awesome! Thank you very much for sharing!

Officer's cross (4th class). The only difference between Officer's and Knight's cross (5th class) is that the Officer's cross has a rosette on the ribbon.

Have you seen any other versions of the reverse of this award beside the screwpost, pin with slide closure (this version), and the rotary pin closure system?
I've only seen the types that you've mentioned and I think that the type which you have is the rarest for this order.
I also prefer the original screwpost types. Beautiful silver pieces!

Trip to Macedonia (museums and antique shop finds)
in Southern European & Balkan States
Posted
I'd like to share some of the stuff I've seen in Macedonia and some of the stuff which I've bought in some of the local antique shops.
NI Institute and Museum Bitola. There's a part of the museum which is dedicated to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Firstly here are some of his uniforms. I doubt that those are actually his uniforms but still nice to see. I'd appreciate more knowledgeable members for futher information because I don't know much about them.
