Joking aside my opinion - definitely not original, when you take a look at photos from that period (1943 onward) ribbons on medals are with stripes, at least I've never seen anything different...
I'm quoting you because you've mentioned different variations of ribbons in another thread, so I wish we could discuss it it a proper thread.

Thank you, these are not so interesting but there's more to come.
I've acquired the Bravery Medal from the grandson of the recipient, it shows traces of wear so I don't think the ribbon was changed recently. By the way that medal has a few different variants of the ribbon.I really didn't know about different variations of the ribbon for this medal. We can discuss it in a different topic.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing.
I cannot unnotice unusual ribbon on Medal for Bravery on post #4.

That's an interesting one. It looks like it's Soviet. I guess that's one of the reason they didn't accept it.

Ah yes, I stand corrected. I don't know why I typed Laurel Wreath when there isn't one around the center. I must have had something else on my mind while I was typing this haha.

Mystery solved! Talked to my grandpa and he said that they wore them on two buttons barrel cuff sleeves, so the regular, every day shirts. He told me that there were no specific regulations and that they didn't have to wear them every day. He wore them whenever he wanted. He said that there was a problem with cufflinks when they were at work because they would often bump into a table and get stuck on its edge, so most of the guys didn't wear them regularly. He told me a story of one officer who had ripped his shirt sleeve because of cufflinks.

Great job Radmilo! Maybe it will be good to run this list through a good cyrillic to latin converter for the people who don't know cyrillic.

I haven't really thought about this to be honest. Now I'm wondering the same thing. I will try to do some research on this matter and hopefully find some answers and post them here.

Very nice display sir! What are those rings for?

From this point of view it really looks like it's black but it's probably dark green like other branches. I guess the JNA pieces are for gala uniforms and special occasions and dark green for Army, dark blue for Navy and light blue for Air Force are for every day work.

Yes, biologist-chemist had green background. I haven't seen any with red background yet.
The Artillery pieces that you saw could be black because Kingdom of Yugoslavia and early Socialist Yugoslavi ranks had black color for artillery so that may be an early piece.

Yes. So far I've seen most of the regular Air Force, Navy and Army cufflinks. As for the branches of service, the only ones I've seen online were pharmacy, supply, parachutist, law, avio-technician and nuclear biologist-chemist if my notes are correct.
