    1. That is the honking great big hook from the reverse of an Austrian trifold ribbon mounting and not the sort of little clip that would be UNDER the ribbon on the front of a South German style mounting like this.

Not that I think it matters, but what does the BACK look like?

No Pic of the back Ricky, I did not buy it. So yo no likee! I am glad I did not bid then!

    2. Just using my amazing newfound superpowers to post this German photo of an English tank, presumably out of commission. Hopefully someone will take the ball and run with it.

Looks like a teeny weeny picture, but click on it and watch it grow

I bet you tell all the girls that :P:lol::lol::lol:

    3. Jaques I also thought the grips looked bad, the eagles did not concern me too much. After the other crosses you posted I have no doubt as to these being fakes. Thanks for the lesson!

is there anyoriginal B&NL catalog that lists them as offering a Spanish cross?

    4. nothing but simple, let break your money-box... :catjava:

The price asked for that thing wouldn't just break my bank, it could cripple many 3rd world economies!!! :speechless:

    5. Thanks for all the replies. I still am not sure this explains the whole story though. The Condor airplane was not much if any earlier than the torpedoboot Kondor and yet spelled with a "C". I also don't see how the airplane name would be a "borrowed" word from another country as it was a German deseign. :speechless::speechless::speechless:

    6. I have a question, torpedoboot Kondor is spelled with a "K" but when Legion Condor is spelled with a "C". Both spellings seem to be original German spellings. Any ideas on why? :speechless:
